Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
- extra flour - 1 item
- heaping mayonnaise - 1 Tbsp
How to make easy biscuits:
Preheat oven to 400°. Mix first three ingredients well. Turn out on floured surface. Fold so that all sides are covered with flour. Roll out or pat dough to desired thickness (approx. 1/4 inch). Place 2 tablespoons oil in iron skillet. Cut out biscuits and place in skillet. Cover tops with remaining oil. Bake until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Northeastern U.S..
