- flour- 20 c - 5 lbs
- cakes Household yeast - 2 item
- eggs - 15 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- bottle anise - 1 item
- warm milk - 1 pt
- vanilla - 1 tbsp
- sugar
How to make easter bread:
Beat eggs, add sugar slowly. Add vanilla and anise. In large pan, put flour, salt. Add liquid ingredients. Add oil. Knead 20 mins. If sticky, add oil to hands. Let rise 2 1/2 -3 hours. Punch down. Let rise again 1 1/2 hours. shape loaves. Let rise 1 more hour. Brush with beaten egg mixed with sugar. Bake 325° for 30 mins.Recipe categories: Breads, Yeast breads, Easter.
