Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts
  • flour - 2 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda
  • grated carrots - 2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 3/4
  • powdered sugar, sifted - 1 lb
  • Add sugar, oil and eggs

How to make 14 carrot cake:

Sift dry ingredients. Add sugar, oil and eggs. Mix well. Stir in carrots, pineapple and nuts; turn into three greased and floured 9-inch cake pans (or large flat glass pan). Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1/2 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted Mix and beat well.
