  • can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • stick butter or margarine - 1 item

How to make dump cake:

Empty pie filling into a 9 x 13-inch pan and spread around (does not have to be perfect, just not in a mound). Empty pineapple the same way. Dump dry cake mix on top of filling and pineapple. Just spread so it's not mounded. Slice stick of butter and scatter slices on top. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Let cool and serve with pie server.
