Ingredients/Components

• stick butter or margarine, melted - 1 item
• yellow or white cake mix - 1 pkg
• can large crushed pineapple - 1 item
• broken up pecans - 1 item
• can large cherry pie filling - 1 item

How to make dump cake:

Into a greased pan (approximately 9 x 13-inch), pour the pie filling, then the crushed pineapple. Sprinkle over dry cake mix, then the nuts. Pour over melted butter. Bake in preheated 350° oven for about 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes. Spoon out and serve with a topping of ice cream.
