  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • box white or yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • large can crushed pineapple undrained - 1 item
  • cherry or apple pie filling - 1 c

How to make dump cake:

Empty pineapple into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan, covering bottom of pan. Spoon pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix over all. Slice margarine over top of cake mix. Bake in a 350° oven for about 1 hour.
