Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- melted butter or margarine - 1/2 1
- can prepared cherry pie filling - 1 item
How to make dump cake:
Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Dump in undrained pineapple, swirling it around to fill corners. Dump in pie filling and push it around until layers of fruit are quite even. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the fruit to cover it all. Melt butter and dribble over top. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350° until browned, about 1 hour.
