Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
- cooking oil - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 oz
- diced bananas - 2 c
How to make doctor bird cake:
Measure flour, baking soda, cinnamon, sugar and salt and sift together. Dice bananas and measure 2 cups. Add bananas to dry ingredients, along with oil, pineapple with juice, vanilla and eggs. Stir to blend mixture; do not beat. Pour into a greased 9-inch tube pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
