Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- can crushed pineapple - 8 oz
- sifted flour - 3 c
- cooking oil
- diced bananas - 2 c
How to make hummingbird cake:
Stir dry ingredients together. Add bananas, oil, pineapple and juice and nuts. Stir only to blend (do not beat). Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Bake in tube pan or Bundt cake pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
