Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • oil
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • can crushed pineapple with juice - 8 oz
  • diced ripe bananas 3 bananas - 2 c

How to make doctor bird cake:

Mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add the oil, pineapple, vanilla, eggs and bananas. The mixture is stirred to blend, not beaten. Pour into greased 9-inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° about 1 hour. Cool completely in pan before removing.
