Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- light cream - 1 c
- chopped dates - 1 pkg
- coconut - 1/2 c
How to make date roll candy:
Combine sugar, cream and salt. Cook until mixture reaches soft ball stage. Add dates and continue cooking until mixture separates from pan when stirred (about 2 minutes). Add pecans, coconut and vanilla. Beat until cool. Pour on a wet cloth and from into a roll. Cut roll in slices when cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Candy.
