Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 5 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • whipping cream - 2 c
  • rice - 1/4 c
  • envelopes gelatin - 2 item
  • frozen raspberries

How to make danish dessert:

Sauce:1 pkg. frozen raspberries2 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. sugar Boil 1/2 hour in double boiler the rice, salt and milk. (I mix gelatin with water.) Add vanilla, gelatin and sugar. When set fold into whipping cream. Let set.

Sauce: Add sugar and cornstarch to raspberries. Bring to boil and cool. Serves 8 to 10.

Spoon into dessert dish and top with sauce.
