Danish dessert
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- whipping cream - 2 c
- rice - 1/4 c
- envelopes gelatin - 2 item
- frozen raspberries
How to make danish dessert:
Sauce:1 pkg. frozen raspberries2 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. sugar Boil 1/2 hour in double boiler the rice, salt and milk. (I mix gelatin with water.) Add vanilla, gelatin and sugar. When set fold into whipping cream. Let set.Sauce: Add sugar and cornstarch to raspberries. Bring to boil and cool. Serves 8 to 10.
Spoon into dessert dish and top with sauce.
