  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • scalded milk
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make custard pie:

Beat eggs slightly and combine with sugar, salt, vanilla and scalded milk. Mix well and pour into pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in a 350° oven 35 to 45 minutes or until mixture does not stick to knife.
