Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- scalded milk
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make custard pie:
Beat eggs slightly and combine with sugar, salt, vanilla and scalded milk. Mix well and pour into pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in a 350° oven 35 to 45 minutes or until mixture does not stick to knife.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
