Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- corn flakes - 3/4 c
How to make crunchy cookies:
Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add flour, soda, salt and baking powder. Blend in oatmeal, corn flakes and nuts. Drop by spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 375° and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
