Creole jambalaya
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- stewed tomatoes
- boiled rice - 1 c
- buttered crumbs - 1 item
- 1/2 green peppers, chopped - 1 item
- cold chicken, turkey or veal
How to make creole jambalaya:
Combine meat, rice and tomatoes. Cook about 10 minutes. Add green peppers, celery and onions. Pour mixture into baking dish. Cover with buttered crumbs. Bake 1 hour at 350°. (Better if served hot.)Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Shrimp.
