Creamy white chili
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground cumin - 1 tsp
- dried oregano - 1 tsp
- medium chopped onion - 1 item
- can chopped green chilies
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- milk or cream - 1/2 c
- 5 oz
- chicken breast cut into 1/2 inch cubes - 1 lb
How to make creamy white chili:
In a large sauce pan saut?© chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and milk. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Chili.
