  • pkg - 1 oz
  • vanilla flavoring - 2 tsp
  • eggs room temperature - 6 item
  • cake flour sifted - 3 c
  • lemon juice or juice of one lemon - 1 tsp

How to make cream cheese pound cake:

Blend cream cheese and margarine together; add sugar, beating slowly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour, a small amount at a time, beating thoroughly after adding all. Add vanilla flavoring and lemon juice; beat well. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until done, depending on oven temperature.
