Cream cheese cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• pkg - 1 oz
• flour
• butter - 1/2 c
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c

How to make cream cheese cookies:

Cream butter, shortening and egg. Add cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in flour with a spoon. Chill dough. Roll into small balls about an inch in size. Place on cookie sheet. Press middle of ball slightly with your thumb to make an indentation. Put strawberry jam or chocolate chip in the middle, whatever you wish. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
