Cream cheese brownies
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- margarine - 5 Tbsp
- sugar - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- unsifted flour - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- almond extract - 1/4 tsp
How to make cream cheese brownies:
Melt chocolate and 3 tablespoons of margarine in small saucepan, stirring constantly and cool. Blend remaining butter with cream cheese until softened. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating well. Blend in 1 egg, 1 tablespoon flour and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Set aside.Beat 2 eggs until thick. Add 3/4 cup sugar, beating well. Add baking powder and 1/2 cup flour. Blend in cooled chocolate mixture, nuts, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the almond extract.
