Cream cheese braids
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- warm water 105~ to 115~ - 1/3 c
- carton commercial sour cream, scalded - 1 oz
- Let cool to lukewarm
- Use food processor or mixer to mix until blended
How to make cream cheese braids:
Combine scalded sour cream, sugar, butter and salt; mix well. Let cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl; stir in sour cream mixture, then eggs.
