Cranberry salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- cold water - 1 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
- cherry jello - 2 (3
- chopped apples - 2 item
- ground cranberries - 1/2 lb
- large marshmallows, quartered - 16 item
- Combine jello and water
How to make cranberry salad:
Mix first 3 ingredients and set aside. Combine jello and water. Add cranberry mixture to this mixture and let thicken. Add crushed pineapple and chopped pecans. Pour into 9 x 13-inch Pyrex pan and set overnight.Topping:8 oz. cream cheese1 c. Cool Whip16 large marshmallows, quartered Whip cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add Cool Whip. Stir in marshmallows. Refrigerate overnight. Next morning, whip mixture until smooth. Pour over jello.Recipe categories: Fruit, Pineapple, Tropical fruits.
