Cranberry-orange relish
Ingredients/Components
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- apple - 1 item
- orange - 1 item
- sugar or to taste - 2 c
- whole fresh cranberries - 4 c
- fresh or canned drained pineapple optional - 1/2 c
How to make cranberry-orange relish:
Wash cranberries; drain in colander and coarsely chop 1/2 cup at a time in blender or food processor. Wash and remove seeds from apple and orange (do not peel). Chop other fruits. Add to cranberries. Add spices; mix well. Flavor improves on standing in refrigerator. May also be frozen.Recipe categories: Fruit, American, Condiments, etc..
