Cranberry mousse
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 2 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- ground nutmeg - 1 tsp
- can jellied cranberry sauce - 1 item
- grated lemon peel - 1 tsp
How to make cranberry mousse:
Drain pineapple well. Reserve juice. Add juice and water to Jell-O to dissolve. Remove from heat. Blend in cranberry sauce until smooth. Add lemon juice, peel and nutmeg. Chill until slightly thickened. Blend in sour cream. Fold in pineapple and nuts. Chill. Great served with turkey on Thanksgiving.Recipe categories: Desserts, Salads, Side dish.
