Cranberry casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- lemon juice
- quick cooking oatmeal
- stick oleo, melted - 1 item
- whole raw cranberries - 2 c
- peeled apples, cored and chopped - 3 c
- can spray vegetable oil - 1 item
How to make cranberry casserole:
Spray a 2-quart casserole with a vegetable oil. Place in it a mixture of the cranberries and apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cover with sugar. In a medium mixing bowl, blend just to moisten the oatmeal, walnuts, brown sugar and melted oleo. Pour crumb mixture over fruit. Bake, uncovered, in a 325° oven for 1 1/4 hours.
