Cranberry butter
Ingredients/Components
- powdered sugar - 6 Tbsp
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened - 1 c
- fresh cranberries, washed and dried, or 3/4 c - 3/4 c
- lemon peel, grated, or 3/4 tsp - 2 tsp
How to make cranberry butter:
In a food processor with metal blade inserted, or in a blender, coarsely chop cranberries with powdered sugar and lemon peel. Add butter and blend until mixture is combined, but slightly chunky. Cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving. Makes 1 1/2 cups.Great for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
