Cowboy stew
Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 2 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can corn - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- slices bacon - 3 item
- can Ranch Style beans - 1 item
How to make cowboy stew:
Fry bacon in a large kettle until crisp. Remove and leave grease in pan. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until translucent. Add ground beef. Cook until meat turns gray. Add seasonings and potatoes, then add canned vegetables, undrained. Cook until potatoes are soft. Add water as needed.
