- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- round steak, cut in 1/2-inch cubes - 1 lb
- pie crust shells - 4 item
- rutabaga, cubed - 2 carrots,
- raw potato, cubed - 4 c
How to make cornish pasties:
Preheat oven to 425°. Place 1 cup potato, 1/4 of the rutabaga or carrots, 1/4 of the round steak, 1/4 of the raw onion, 1 tablespoon butter and salt and pepper on half of unbaked pie shell. Fold over. Seal by moistening edge. Bake at 425° for 12 minutes; lower to 350°. Bake 1 hour longer.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
