Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- light brown sugar - 2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- popcorn - 6 8
How to make caramel corn:
Place brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in 2-quart saucepan. Boil 5 minutes, then add vanilla and soda; stir, then pour over popcorn. Place on cookie sheet and bake in oven at 250° for 45 minutes. Stir often. Peanuts can be added.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
