  • vanilla - 1/4 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • light brown sugar - 2 c
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • Karo syrup - 1/2 c
  • popcorn - 6 8

How to make caramel corn:

Place brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in 2-quart saucepan. Boil 5 minutes, then add vanilla and soda; stir, then pour over popcorn. Place on cookie sheet and bake in oven at 250° for 45 minutes. Stir often. Peanuts can be added.
