How to make corn fritters:
Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Pour oil in a depth of 1/2-inch in a large skillet. Use a tablespoon dipped in hot water. Drop cornmeal mixture into hot oil. Fry over medium heat 1 minute on eRecipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
