Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • large onion, diced - 1 item
  • green pepper, diced - 1 item
  • can tomato soup undiluted - 1 item
  • carrots, cooked and sliced in circles - 2 lb

How to make copper pennies:

Mix carrots, pepper and onion. Set aside. Bring to a boil rest of ingredients. Cool and add to carrot mixture. Refrigerate overnight before serving so flavors can meld. Keeps in refrigerator indefinitely.
