Ingredients/Components

  • sliced carrots - 5 c
  • sliced onion - 1 item
  • bell pepper - 1 item
  • tomato soup - 1 c
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp

How to make copper pennies:

Cook and cool carrots. Mix soup, salad oil, sugar, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Pour over carrots, onion and bell pepper. Refrigerate overnight.
