Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar
- baking powder
- chocolate chips - 1 pkg
- nuts - 1 c
- sifted flour
- shortening, melted - 2/3 c
How to make congo bars:
Melt shortening. Add brown sugar and stir well. Cool slightly. Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
