  • Crisco - 2/3 c
  • sugar - 3 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • whole milk - 1 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
  • can Angel Flake coconut - 1 item

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, baking powder and salt, alternating with milk. Add flavorings and coconut. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Reduce heat to 300° and bake 45 minutes more or until done.
