  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • vanilla flavoring - 4 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • Crisco - 3/4 c
  • lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
  • almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • coconut flavoring - 2 tsp
  • plain or cake flour - 3 c
  • Icing:1 box confectioners sugar
  • milk more or less to make spreading consistency - 5 Tbsp

How to make coconut pound cake:

Icing:1 box confectioners sugar1 stick margarine1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring5 Tbsp. milk (more or less to make spreading consistency) Cream Crisco, margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Mix flavorings in milk and add this to Crisco mixture. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300°. Ice cake while still warm.

Icing: Combine all ingredients and beat well. Put on warm cake.
