- salt - 1/2 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
- coconut I use 6 oz - 1 c
How to make coconut pound cake:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream shortening and sugar 10 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour mixture alternating with milk, beating after each addition. Add coconut and flavoring. Mix at low speed ofRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
