- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 9 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour, sifted 5 times - 3 c
- whipped margarine - 1 lb
- finely ground coconut - 1 can
How to make coconut pound cake:
Cream together margarine and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla; stir in flour, 1 cup at a time. Fold in coconut. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300° for 1 hour and then at 350° for 30 more minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
