  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 9 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour, sifted 5 times - 3 c
  • whipped margarine - 1 lb
  • finely ground coconut - 1 can

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream together margarine and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla; stir in flour, 1 cup at a time. Fold in coconut. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300° for 1 hour and then at 350° for 30 more minutes.
