- milk
- glasses water - 2 (8
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- coconut - 2 c
How to make coconut pie:
Place egg yolks into 2 three-quart cooking pans. Beat yolks well. Add sugar, flour and salt. Mix again. Add milk, water, vanilla and coconut. Mix again. Place on heat and cook until mixture becomes thick. Stir constantly to prevent scorching. Pour into pie shells. This recipe makes 2 large pies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
