Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- Crisco - 2/3 c
- flour, sifted
- Add eggs and mix well
- frozen coconut
How to make coconut cake:
Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and mix well. Add milk and flour alternately. Add salt and flavoring. Mix well. Bake in greased and floured baking pans at 350° for 25 or 30 minutes or until done.Coconut Filling:2 to 2 1/2 c. sugar1 stick margarine2 1/2 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla2 small pkg. frozen coconut Cook sugar, margarine and milk over medium heat.
