Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cold water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 1 c
  • hot water - 1 c

How to make cocoa syrup:

Combine in saucepan the sugar, cocoa, salt and cold water to make a paste. Blend in hot water. Simmer 4 to 6 minutes, stirring until thick and smooth. Cool and stir in vanilla extract.

Store in covered container in refrigerator. Makes 3 cups.
