  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
  • bottle chili sauce - 1 oz
  • bottle grape jelly - 1 oz

How to make cocktail meatballs:

Mix hamburger, cracker crumbs, egg and salt. Shape into small balls. Brown the meatballs in skillet; drain the grease when cooked. Heat chili sauce and jelly until jelly has dissolved. Add meatballs to the sauce; continue cooking for 45 minutes to 1 hour. You want to maintain a very low boil for this time period. May cook on top of stove or use an electric skillet.
