Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • fresh parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • jar grape jelly - 1 oz
  • spicy barbecue sauce - 1 c
  • chopped meat - 1 lb
  • Cook in 1/4 cup shortening until brown

How to make cocktail meatballs:

Mix all ingredients thoroughly; shape into 1-inch meatballs. Cook in 1/4 cup shortening until brown. Remove; drain pan.Sauce:1 (12 oz.) bottle ketchup1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly1 c. spicy barbecue sauce Combine sauce ingredients. Heat in skillet until jelly is melted. Add meatballs; stir. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Nice to serve in a chafing dish.
