Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 6 8
- shortening - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- active dry yeast - 2 pkg
- scalded milk - 2 c
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Scald milk. Add shortening and sugar; cool. Add yeast, beaten eggs, flour and salt. Let rise until doubled; push down. Roll out small amount; cover with softened butter. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar. Roll the dough and cut into small slices. Put into pans to rise.Topping: Combine cinnamon, sugar and melted butter; put on top of rolls. Let rise and cook at 350° until brown.
