  • instant chocolate pudding
  • Amaretto - 1/4 c
  • large container Cool Whip - 1 item
  • box chocolate cake mix - 1 item
  • sliced almonds for garnish - 1 item

How to make chocolate trifle:

Bake cake according to directions on box (11 x 13-inch pan). Let cool. Make pudding, using 1/4 cup Amaretto for some of the milk. Layer in trifle bowl, 1/2 cake (crumbled), 1/2 pudding, 1/2 crushed Heath bar and 1/2 Cool Whip. Repeat; chill and garnish with almonds.
