  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • boiling water
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • oats - 1 c

How to make chocolate oatmeal cake:

Pour water over oats and let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Add sugar, eggs and margarine. Mix very well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in 350° oven 35 minutes.

A buttercream frosting is very good on this cake.
