Chocolate ripple cake
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 c
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- eggs - 5 item
- chocolate, melted - 1 sq
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
How to make chocolate ripple cake:
Cream the butter and gradually add sugar. Beat for 2 minutes. Add flour, eggs and vanilla. Measure 3 cups of batter into a greased tube pan. Stir chocolate and flavoring into remaining batter. Spoon chocolate mixture over batter in tube pan and, with a rubber spatula, cut and twist through batter to give a ripple effect. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
