Chocolate pound cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• milk - 1 c
• vanilla extract - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• butter - 1 c
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Cream together batter and shortening. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Bake in greased 10-inch tube pan at 325° for 80 minutes.
