- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Cream together butter and shortening. Add sugar. Add eggs, then vanilla. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and milk to creamed mixture. Bake in 10-inch tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
