- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- cake flour - 3 c
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Cream margarine and Crisco together. Cream in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add alternately with milk and vanilla. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a greased and floured tube pan. Let cool before removing from pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
