  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • cake flour - 3 c
  • sweet milk - 1 c

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Cream margarine and Crisco together. Cream in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add alternately with milk and vanilla. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a greased and floured tube pan. Let cool before removing from pan.
