sugar - 2 c
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 1 c
chopped nuts - 1 c
flour - 2 c
soda - 1 tsp
cocoa - 1/4 c
cold mashed potatoes - 1 c
butter or oleo, soft - 1 c

How to make chocolate potato cake:

In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Blend in potatoes and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda. Add alternately with milk; blend well. Stir in nuts. Pour in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Very good.
