Chocolate oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1 c
• milk - 3 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour
• coconut - 3 Tbsp
• cocoa - 3 Tbsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
• dash of salt - 1 item
• sifted confectioners sugar
• melted butter or margarine
• firmly packed light brown sugar - 1 c
• soft butter or margarine - 1/2 c
• Stir
• quick oatmeal uncooked - 1 c

How to make chocolate oatmeal cake:

Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Stir. Cover and let stand 20 minutes. Then mix the remaining ingredients in the usual manner. Pour batter into a greased 9-inch square cake pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes. Do not remove from pan. Frost with Cho
